TCM has a broad range of complex assignments providing program and project management services to K-12 and higher education customers in Texas. In fact, TCM is currently managing (13) education projects with construction values totaling more than $500M. 

Houston Independent School District

  • • DeBakey HS
    The new campus for DeBakey High School, which will be located in the heart of the Texas Medical
    Center, providing students with expanded access to healthcare and research facilities.

  • • Lamar HS
    Replacement project preserving the architecturally significant structure of the main existing building for
    a campus that will accommodate 2,800 - 3,000 students.

  • • Bellaire HS
    Replacement project for 2,800 - 3,100 students that will incorporate the recently completed science
    classroom and laboratory wing.

  • • Sterling Aviation HS
    Replacement of the 1965 existing structure. The new building will include an airplane hangar lab as
    part of the school’s aviation magnate program. The building will accommodate 1,600 1,800
  • • Madison HS
    New school for 1,900 - 2,100 students that will incorporate recent science and classroom building

  • • Barbara Jordan HS
    This School for Careers features HISD’s only career magnet school. The new school will accommodate
    800 students.

  • • Condit Elementary
    Replacement of a 100-year-old school on the existing site to accommodate 750 students.
  • Houston Community College

  • • Coleman College Healthcare Education Facility Expansion
    Located at the Texas Medical Center, this new facility has larger areas of approximately 1.56 acres for
    current programs and is located across the street from the existing building at 900 Pressler Street,
    Houston, Texas.

  • • Eastside Campus New Instructional Building
    The Workforce Building will provide academic spaces such as classrooms and a computer lab to
    support workforce and continuing education programs.

  • • Felix Fraga New STEM Facility
    The new building provides academic spaces such as classrooms and different types of science,
    computer, and simulation labs to support the STEM program.

  • • West Campus Housing
    Design and build (3) Greenfield 5-story identical student housing structures to accommodate 1,253

  • • OA Grant Humanities Building Rehabilitation and Expansion
    The 1973 student recreation facility will receive modernized classrooms and lounging areas.

  • • Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center Rehabilitation
    The project scope of work consists of replacement/refurbishment of the Auditorium and Theater
    seating, ADA/TAS accessibility improvements, finishing renovations, acoustical upgrades, reroofing
    and life safety updates.
