The facility will house the Department of Nursing, the Department of Health and Human Performance, and the Biomedical Institute for Regenerative Research. It also will provide needed educational and research space for other departments. With new specialized equipment and a simulation hospital, faculty members and students will be able to conduct advanced research, further contributing to the prestige of this university. With a tradition of using our resources for the benefit of the community, A&M-Commerce will use this new state of-the-art building as a springboard for developing partnerships with local and regional health care providers, school systems, and organizations. We intend to address the demand for quality health care professionals and contribute to nursing and health science research in Northeast Texas.
