The Gaylord was a Greenfield project, consisting of a new 16 story, 2,000 key hotel with a highly themed 2.5 acre interior atrium, looking out over the Potomac River, just South of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, in Oxon Hill, Maryland, USA. There is a 2,000,000 square foot dedicated convention center to the East side of the Hotel with 90 foot bays, all contained on a 42 acre project site at a $717M final GMP.
The new Hilton Americas hotel consists of 25 floors with meeting rooms, ballrooms, and 1,200+ guest rooms. On an adjacent site, there is a connecting bridge to the convention center and the 562,500 SF parking garage, which accommodates 1,600 parking spaces in Houston, TX.
Duties include overseeing the construction of 3 five-story apartment buildings and a one-story commons building. We assure that the contractors are providing and installing TAMUS/TAMUR System with the quality that Texas A&M requires. In addition, we oversee and participate in the inspections process from the exaction of beams, placement of concrete, framing of structure, HVAC/Duct, Block/brick verneer, drywall, flooring, hardware and appliances
The Utilities and Energy Services (UES) scope of work for the Corps Dorm Renovation project is truly a 50 year infrastructure replacement which consists of replacing and upgrading all thermal and domestic water trunk lines and valves for distribution. Simultaneous construction and installation of a new electrical and data duct bank for future replacement work shall be completed throughout the Corps Mall area.
